yes u can but it's gonna be a 50 dollar charge. u also have the option to bring it to a staples store to a certified technician. but that will cost the same if u bring it to staples. so, ur best bet is to bring it back to Dell and they will install it. i had my motherboard of my laptop replaced by Dell and it took only 4 days!

No I don't think Dell will do it for you. I could be wrong, but it is definitely not the cheapest or fastest way to go anyway.
If you have all the parts you wanna put in your computer, go to a LARGE electronic store nearby with your computer and the parts. For instance, Best Buy, Circuit City, and CompUSA are around where I live... They will put them in for a fee. Even if you don't have all the parts in your hands yet, the store may carry some and they'll put things that they sell if you ask them to do so.
I sense that your mind is set for getting it done instead of doing it yourself. But if you may wanna do it on your own, please ask another question, lol.. I cannot recommend that you replace the processor on your own as that stuff is so fragile and you can break pins on your motherboard.

Installing new parts into your computer to "Upgrade" it is very simple...
Get a book or do some online researching (like I did) and do it yourself...it only takes minutes to do by yourself without having to ship it off to the dealer's to have them do something simple that will take weeks to do, and Tons more money, and all that time not having your computer to use.
I Never worked on a computer till a few years ago, and was afraid of screwing something up...but it's really easy to do...even replacing the mobo...
There should be and online manual for your make and model of pc...go to the Dell site and look for it..then read and look at the pictures provided.

I would recheck the parts on www.newegg.com. Dell doesn't actually make anything at all. Usually overpriced.
As for putting in parts, you can always get a local computer store to install them for you. Call around for prices.

No. Dell will fix their own products but will not upgrade their products with hardware they typically would not support. You can try a local service center, although they may not warranty the work.

As far as I know, no. Dell won't upgrade your PC. They'd be happy to sell you a new one though.

buy the parts, then ask on answers.yahoo.com how to install em!
there are too many online guides - a baby could assemble a PC these days - do it yourself
cheers
