What kind of work do you want to do? What goal or goals will you have in that field of work?
For example, you might want to become a medical doctor & within the medical field become a specialist in children's diseases, with the goal of helping as many children as possible live a good, healthy life.

Well you can take some classes regarding health related things. Like for being a medical technician or something of that sort. You can never go wrong with learning something regarding the medical field especially now a days.

It means (or used to) how you're going to apply your major to the job you want to get. Say you want to be, I don't know, a carpenter. You could say you want to be a repairman, or you could say that you want to go into architecture and own your own firm while working with the city and community to ensure conformity with zoning laws and keeping in with the historic nature of the area.
It's all in how you spin it. Lie through your teeth if you have to, as long as it gets you into college, then you can always change your major later. ;)
