I know this can work - but less is more - I know of several people, one fish and one apple tree it fixed!
A lady in her 80's fell down four stone steps in the garden, her daughter gave her a few drops of rescue remedy in a glass of water as she was shaking like a leaf then called the doctor.
5 minutes later the old lady was gardening and telling her daughter not to worry about a doctor.
My goldfish, on it's last legs swimming on the diagonal with a hole in it's side and expecting it to die any minute, gave it a drop of rescue remedy every week it survived - it lasted 8 more months and looked much healthier a few weeks after I started dosing it.

At uni when we had to do a presentation to an auditorium of strangers a bottle was passed round the eight of us waiting in the wings! for many of us we felt calmer - for one of two people, they claimed it didn't help. like chemical medication different things work for different people. before getting on the plane take a herbal calming pill - take the Rescue Remedy on board and use it whenever anxious and plug into the music channels as soon as you sit down! Focus on something else. It used to be useful to take a relaxation tape on board with a walkman - but with carry on being what it is now...
Call the airline - explain the problem and see what advice they have!

I've tried rescue remedy, but does it work? Probably not.
Best way to overcome your fear of flying is to understand that it's the safest form of transport and to focus on that, also when in a plane, imagine you are in another place other than a plane, noisy lounge where someone serves you food and you can see films, also focus on where the plane is taking you, they usually take you to great places!

Yes I have used it when feeling a little stressed and I recommend it. You can either put a few sprays onto your pulse points or in your mouth. Rescue Remedy contains bach flowers and brandy - the brandy of course is used to help preserve the flowers and their properties. You can buy it from Boots or other herbal shops such as Holland and Barrett for as little as £3. If you find this isnt suitable for you, you could also try dabbing Lavender essential oil neatly onto your pulse points (behind ears and on wrists). Lavender is well known for its relaxing and anti-stress properties.

I've tried it and I'm unsure if it helped but it didn't hinder!
Kalms really work well for me and they were recommended by my doctor! I can feel the panic subsiding and heart rate returning to normal.
Most supermarkets and chemists stock Kalms. there is another product that contains Valerian and Gentian (which are the active ingredients), which might be a bit cheaper as less well known, can't remember what is is called though, a Chemist might know.
:) hope this helps

My sister failed her driving test cause she was so nervous and the next time she used Rescue Remedy and she passed she aid it was really good. My aunty also used it before she went on a plane for the first time and she said it calmed her down a lot. She uses it every time she goes on holiday now. I think its worth giving it a try.

My daughter works in a health shop and sells loads of this stuff, she used it for taking her driving test and it calmed her down, her boss recommended it so took her advice, when looking at the ingredients it does contain alcohol! Good job she didnt use too much on her test!
Friend of mine gives it to her dog when people are having fireworks, just a drop in the water and kept her sane all evening.
