The cost will run you anywhere between $7,000 and $15,000. You might want to call around and ask as the prices vary from state to state, hospital to hospital and doctor to doctor. When adding up to get the total cost, you need to talk to the following:
1. hospital...find out cost of your surgical care and room
2. anesthesia for their fees (anesthesia and anesthesiologist/anesthetist fee and anesthesia itself)
3. surgeon for his fee
4. also ask surgeon the type of procedure being done (there are several ways of doing a hysterectomy and he will perform what is safest for you)

Good luck!
