Can it burn CDs too, or can it only do DVDs?
On a DVD+/-RW desktop, I want to know if it can burn pictures or not.

A DVD Burner will read and write CD'S

You can burn CDs with a DVD burner; but you cannot burn DVDs with a CD burner............

You can burn pictures onto a CD.

yes as long as you have the software, it burns cds and dvds

A DVD+/-RW can do whatever a CD-RW can. In short, yes it can.

it can burn both you can burn any thing to any discs the only thing that matters is the size
