Women claim that they want men who are confident, healthy, intelligent, hard-working, romantic, honest, and appreciative. Those same women intentionally date and marry men who are the exact opposite. Then they have the nerve to feel sorry for themselves, even though they are 100% to blame for their own choices.

likely for an same reason that men placed up a pretend facade to get laid and then even as they are married they grow to be mendacity machines. Then they have the nerve to sense indignant that their females do not believe them anymore, even notwithstanding the lads are one hundred% to blame for his or her own options. that is only a theory, very similar on your martyr's theory.

I don't think this happens as often as some people think. But I think the ones that do that do it without even realizing it. The reason? I don't know.
