1) 1/6 + 4 1/3 = 0 so i have to change the 3 to a 6 so we can add the fractions therefore giving me 1/6 +4 2/6= 4 1/2 in reduced form..

2) 1 2/10 + 2/5= 0 same thing change 5 to 10...1 2/10 + 4/10=0 now add these giving me 1 3/5 in reduced form

3) 3 1/2-2/3=0 ok same thing change 2 and 3 to 6's...3 3/6-4/6= 0 giving me 2 5/6 in reduced form

4) 10-2/5=0 ok well siple 9 3/5 or you can change 10 to an improper fraction giving you 50/5 - 2/5 giving you 48/5 then simplify giving you 9 3/5 or keep improper fraction

5) 1 3/4 - 1 1/5= 0 ok change both of these to 20's giving you

9) 2 1/6 x 3 1/3= 0 ok well just change these fractions to improper fractions giving you 13/6 x 10/3 now you have to multiply across giving you 130/18 reduce giving you 65/9

You would be better asking the method....

For example... Question 1

4 / (1/3)

A whole number can be taken as a fraction by dividing by 1

so

(4 / 1) / (1 /3)

Now for the denominator (1/3) invert it... and change the divide to multiply

(4 / 1) x ( 3 / 1) = (12/1)

the second part

(1/6) + (12/1)

multiply the (12/1) by 6

(1/6) + (72/6)

= 73/6

answer = 73/6

or 12 1/6

I am not going to do all your homework for you. You wouldn't learn anything. Plus 17 questions is way too much for two lousy points.
