RIP is Routing Information Protocol
used in complex packet routing where the router remembers
internal addresses and external addresses transalation. Similar to Static ports but dynamic.

IGRP is Interior Gateway Routing Protocol
usually used by cisco routers for estimating distances and speeds between hops (routers) - If my memory serves

Siplit Horizon is designed to prevent routing loops to due innacurate routing tables on routers.

Poison Reverse is like a memory system between routers whereby one remembers the other does not have a gateway to the destination.

Please correct me if I am wrong !

Definitely sounds like a homework question.

Split horizon: don't send routing information back the way it came.

Poison reverse: advertise information at infinite metric back the way it came.
