Your opinion is the most important as you're the one with them. However, just consider, for a moment, if friends and family have a good reason. But obviously, you make the final choice.

Depends on the boyfriend
Most of mine hate my hubby....and I'm not concerned with it.
The ones that don't like him...don't talk to me much anymore.Fare weather family and friends they are.
I love my hubby and i am not going to get rid of him just because some of my Friends nd family do not like him............to me that makes them the bad guys.
It's not like he has done anything wrong,hurt me or anyone else and he is a good supportive hubby,a hard working family man...they have no reason to disapprove.
But, sence your guy is just your BF, it's not that big of a deal...if he has given no real reason for them to not like him...then they need to chill.

It would pretty much depend on what they based their dislikes. Sometimes you can see things clearer at a distance than you can close up.
