Don't you mean "hotscakes?"

I don't know about the hotscakes mix, but I know that once she made a cake with "Bibber's Cake Mix." She put a whole egg into the box with some water, then shook the box and put it in the oven. The cake came out good, because the company's slogan was: "You can't make a boo-boo with Bibber's!"
