Peace on earth is impossible. There are too many clashing ideas. Unless a totalitarian government takes over, where we are stripped of all freedoms and new ideas. If you've read the book 1984, you'd know what I'm talking about. But then again that seems impossible because those who are on top and control everything are free. It is in human nature to want more. We are never content. So those people on top, would want more, but what would there be to want when controlling everything. Human nature is impossible to tame. I think we have come as far as we can as a society. Unless we discover time travel, or extra-terrestrials, I don't see where we can go from the near future since we will have almost everything figured out in the near future.

yes there will be peace on Earth one day.. when the Lord comes back and takes us all to heaven.. that will be the only day we will all be happy
