It's the other way around with me, I have dreams or nightmares of combat in Korea and Vietnam that are so real and keep coming back that I pray they never happen to anyone. I began fighting in an infantry unit in Korea when I was 17 years old and went through 3 years in Vietnam. a few years later. Now that I am 71 years old, I still have flashbacks that are mixed even when i think I am awake. It's hard to live with but I am sure others have problems as bad or worse than mine.

You can't recapture that moment -- it's in the past, and the uniqueness of the experience is part of what makes it special.
However, you can look for and be open to opportunities for new unreal experiences, that will surpass the first -- better yet, MAKE those opportunities!! Find out what it was about the first experience that made it so wonderful, and open yourself to similar chances.

Yes! I love those moments and if I knew how to go back and recapture any of them... well that'd just make me happier than a rabbit during mating season.
Yeah that last part was weird and I just made it up too lol.

Yes, I don't think those moments can be recaptured. You just have to hold on to the memories.

yes, I had some dreams about future relationships and future actions... I really don't believe much in this stuff, but it really happened. and sometimes I do something and I remember that I dreamed about it before. It's really strange, I know
