Don't lend things to her anymore.
Turn her in for using drugs.
Tell your grandma she is stealing. It is hard for older people to be rude. She probably wants to say no, but feels like she has to be polite. Tell her it's okay to say to the neighbor she is not welcome. If you find her in your house, call the police and get a restraingin order.
Sounds harsh, but why support her habit???

Any way to take grandma with you sometimes when you go out? Does grandma know why you don't want her in the house? Have you tried going to her house every once in a while? Maybe she just needs a friend. Or maybe ask to "borrow" stuff from her, preferably your stuff to get it back. If this lady resorts to breaking into your house then I'd call the cops. Hope that helps...

Don't listen to the Insane Reactionaries that are gonna answer you. They're mental.....'Go to the Police' etc...Ignore them.
Tell Grandma not to let her in. Tell Grandma to say (she can't get out of her chair or something). Anything.
Then you should ask your unstable neighbour to back off as you're having a terrible family crisis. When she comes round again, tell her you still need spce and time to yourself. Eventually she'll take the hint hopefully. If she doesn't, talk to her and tell her something else, make somehting up...Grandmas getting senile doesn't like stangers anymore...get a dog, the dog doesn't like new people, Anything just do what it takes.
If she gets abusive or anything threaten to call the police...But once you get to that point...it's all downhill anyway.
You call the police now and you're asking for trouble.

Tell your next door neighbour not to come to your home under any circumstances. If your Grandmother lets her in ...then she may be lonely and need to have her own friends. HElp her to find a group of friends that can come over and help stop this neighbour from entering. Secure your valuables, Discuss the situation with the police ...they may be interested in her drug situation. As a last resort ...get and AVO taken out to allow the police to arrest her for tresspassing ...when she enters your property.

Keep track of what goes missing, and require grandma to pay the replacement cost or move out. Her willful negligence is harming your household and she should be held responsible. If grandma can't or won't live with the rules of the house, and it is harming you, she needs to go somewhere else. She has no right to be exposing your family to that kind of cost and potential danger.

Your being too nice obviously. Next time she comes over DRAG her *** off the property. If that fails call the cops and get a trespass warrant. Dont be afraid to be a little stricter with granny too. Shes part of the problem.

Take anything that you don't want missing and place it into a room that grandma doesnt go in to at all. Then if anything else goes missing, call the cops.

If you want a real resolution, you may have to go to the police to get a restraining order. It's not fair she puts your Grandmother in that position. You could use that as the reason. Grandma can't say no.
Good Luck!

tell her again and tell her you don't want to have any problems with her and dont want to get the ploice involved. also make a comment to her that things have gone missing but don't tell her like if you think its her but just so she's aware that you've noticed it and that your really mad about it, also if she asks to borrow things tell her No but since i guess its hard for people to say that word to others you can also give her a time limit like o im gonna need that by thursday and if she doesn't give it to you on thursday go to her house and ask her for it until she gets the point that you dont trust her.and tell your grandma again but tell her that you dont feel safe in your own house

this is rather complicated, but i don't think letting a drug user into your home at all is a good idea. say this woman comes over to your house and dies there then you're all screwed. what about if she is found with drugs in your home? you'll all be in trouble, it's not worth it. cut off all ties with the woman unless she is willing to get help.
