I did not have my period in December. It so weird because I had sex, though I was pregnant, but I took a test about a week or two ago that came out negative. It should've been positive by then, if I was.

So now it's good ol' January...still no period...but I've had sex again. If I didnt ovulate last month (for whatever reason)...there's no way I can calculate my 'expected' date of ovulation for this month, right? Since my ovulation cycle was thrown off.

you might not be ovulating at all.
Make a Dr. apt and get a blood test to rule out pregnancy for sure and then let them know so they can regulate your periods and you can start ovulating.
I had the same problem a couple of months ago. My period ended up coming on its own in Dec but that was going to be my next option.
If you dont have a period it is very very hard to get pregnant. Some people do but it is harder of course
Good luck and take care

Try charting your basal body temperature. Temperature spikes about a degree right before you ovulate.
