I always put to much on then I can't get it off. How do you know how much is proportionate?

First look in the mirror and smile to find where the apples of your cheeks are. Put the brush in the blush and then shake the excess off. Apply it lightly to the apples of your cheeks. Then use a tissue to blot the excess off. The key here is to BLOT and not rub. If you accidentally put to much on take a slightly damp tissue and take some off or put your face powder on over top.

Smile to bring out the apples of your cheeks for the blush and put a little on your brush then tap it off to get rid of the access and then dab it gently on your apples. For bronzer you make a fish face and put it where the sun would "kiss it"

When applying blush, apply only a little bit on the apples of your cheeks. Enough to show some color, but not so that it is overly apparent. Try watching the makeup portion of what not to wear on TLC. Carmindy's tips can help you alot

well there are basically two ways to apply blush, one way is to suck in so that your cheek bones stick out then you make sure u have a good deal of blush on the brush blow a bit of it off before applying it so theres not to much then in strokes from bottom to top apply to skin in the same direction, another way is to smile so that your cheeks become sort of apple shaped and to apply in the same way to the apple like cheeks....hope you understood

I had the same problem but what i do is start at the middle of my cheek then follow your cheek bone. To get it off just wash your face and don't put so much on. after you put some on take a Kleenex and gently wipe it of VERY gently

Start with just a little on your brush, just one swipe of it. Then smile. apply the blush on the chubby part of your cheek and gently sweep it back, following your cheekbone towards the corner of your eye.

If it doesn't look like enough, then try another sweep. Usually that will do it.

What you do is smile and apply to the cheek bones and if you add too much what I do is take a cotton ball and rub it gently in circles where there is too much.
Hope I could help!

take a big make up brush and swirl it around in the blush.LIGHTLY tap of the extra once then use virtal strokes accross the apples of your cheeks. this should only be done twice, once on each side. but it all depends on the look your're going for, casual, glowing, elegant, classy.

Just dap a little on your brush and work it into your skin in a circular motion on the apples of your cheeks.
