I have a boyfriend whom I love, and a good guy-friend who's nuts about me. He "loves" me he says, but i don't like him back like that and he knows it, but he tries to make me feel bad for him and even encourages me to dump my BF when i'm mad at him. I don't like this guy's clingyness and I feel unconfortable when he says he'll "wait for me". Can I tell him to stop without hurting him terribly? He is kinda sensitive. =/
What to do?

Don't lead him on anymore than your doing now. There is nothing worse than a fatal attraction. Better be 100% upfront with him now, and so...he may be hurt a little. So what! He's playing with your feelings your getting upset ,uncomfortable, and annoyed.
If he says he'll wait for you, tell him not to hold his breath.

Don't have any more contact with him. So what if he's sensitive? He's also controlling, and he's manipulating you. That doesn't sound very sensitive to me. Not to anyone's feelings but his own, anyway.

The guy is a creep and he likes mind games. So I would say don't even give him an explanation. He doesn't need one (he'll know why) and you certianly don't owe him one. Last thing: tell you boyfriend and ask him to keep the guy away from you.

Put your foot down and stand up for yourself. Being a whiny cry guy doesn't give him the right to treat you this way. And when he says he'll wait for you, tell him to do it from afar.

He may not like you anymore, but that's what you want, right?

That's a toughie!
If you let him down too hard it could hurt your relationship with
him. You need to confront him that you two are best friends and NOTHING more, but don't yell it in his face.Is he doing this stuff in front of your BF? Then you definately want to be quick about this sitiation. GOOD LUCK!

You need to tell him to back off and that he isn't being much of a friend right now. If he continues his behavior you need to talk to him less and less until eventually it becomes not at all.

Be firm and hold your ground and just tell him like it is, and he will either get over it, or get worst????
