Women claim that they want men who are confident, healthy, intelligent, hard-working, romantic, honest, and appreciative. Those same women intentionally date and marry men who are the exact opposite. Then they have the nerve to feel sorry for themselves, even though they are 100% to blame for their own choices.

Great question.
1. When it comes right down to it, they are more comfortable in relating with the opposite type of man they say they want; perhaps, it is a man like their father whom they know best.
3. She may see the "loser" as someone who will need her.
3. She may think she doesn't deserve any better. The man of her dreams may be too good for her.
5. She may be lonely.

These women come from abusive homes - with mothers who were punching bags for abusive fathers. And even if the father left (which usually he did) the mom replaced him with a series of men who were just as abusive.
Most of these women's sex lives began early and nonconsensually, with either the dad, the boyfriend, an older brother or an uncle molesting them.
They honestly think that's all they deserve in life, so that's why they date and marry abusive men.

You know you are right. Lot of that has to do with women lib back in the 60's. Woman lib tell women that they can do it all just like a man, and we women don't need a man, and when we do get a man we chose the wrong one, cause they didn't tell us how to chose the right one. But some of us didn't listen to woman lib and made a good choice, ooh how I love the right man that's for me.

who they thought, was human and turned out to be a beast
what about male martyrs
that complain about the partners or wives they have also chosen in error .( screech! )
