me and neil have been dating for only 1 month and a half and i lost feelings for him....we have been friends for 5 years and i dont want to hurt his feelings....hes one of the nicest guys ever but i just dont feel it for him anymore...how should i break it off with him, cause its soo hard to do it in person.

You need to do it face to face, you owe atleast that much to him. Just let him know how you are feeling. Tell him that you respect him and think that he is a great guy, but that he deserves someone who will love him the way that he deserves to be loved, and you are not that person.

You need to be honest with him. take him out for dinner, and tell him you need to talk to him, and you hope that he can be understanding, about what you have to say. Tell him, as for the relationship between the two of you, that the chemistry is just not their, but as a friend, he is the best, and you do not want to lose his friendship, say, I know it is going to take time, for us to adjust, but I hope that you can understand where I am coming from.. the best way to break it off with him is tell him how you feel if he dont like it then oh well hell get over it someday but if you still want to be friends with him then tell him you woll be better off as friends

if you speak with him in person that would actually be great!
YOu will be able to see how he reacts and you will be able to fix things up like if he objects or something like that....
What i do is that i explain why we can't make things work and i offered friendship and that's it!♥♥♥
