Sounds like:

You pc is running at a high CPU % usage

Try to close down some applications that are not needed

Also see how many processes are running. ABove 40 is high so you may want to disable some.

If you have a running anti - virus these tend to slow pc systems down.

If your're using an old machine you may need to upgrade the RAM

If you r listening to radio or songs the same time try not to and if it does the same i think you need to add a bit of ram.

You can also try to get a trial version of a software called System Mechanic from www.download.com

It will delete all the unnecessary files and will free some ram for you

apart from your spelling, you probably need more ram in your pc or close some of the running programmes, if this is a large accounting file then you probably need more ram
