Ask again, maybe rephrase the question. Also see if the time you are asking the quetion may have something to do with it, but I don't see why no one would answer your question. Then again I understand b/c I have have had some questions with few answers that were not helpful at all. Best of luck in the future.

Depending on the category the question is in, it might get bumped down underneath newer questions too quickly for anyone to see it.

If the person really, really needed help, I think they would be able to find a more useful source than Yahoo answers.
I can't imagine a life or death situation unfolding on this area of Yahoo just because someone didn't get answered in time.

Not everyone sees every question every time they get on here. If I happen to see one I want to answer I do. I don't scroll through every one to see what I want to answer., just what pops up usually and go from there. Sometimes I will go to a certain category, but if it doesn't appear interestiong in say the first 20 or so, I go elsewhere.

They can post the question again. If it's a really serious problem then perhaps Yahoo! Answers shouldn't have been their first choice for a solution.

I guess they should re-phrase it and ask again.
A lot of people (though not me) won't answer long questions.
If you need answers, keep the Q short, and easy to understand.
