I'm at the age that I need to find a good paying job so I can go to college, but I don't know what kind of job that I want. That's a good paying job, like acting, modeling, etc. I need help. YOU can help me that would be great. Thanks.

Go to www. Barbizon.com. They have training and jobs for both acting and modeling.

You can always try acting or modeling... but it would cost you more to get get head shots and transportation etc. So if thats what you want you have to think about expenses to get into that. At 14 maybe you can go to your local church or people you know to do some baby sitting. Or see if anyone that has a farm or places that give horse riding lessons need people to help out (aka clean stalls etc) I did that when I was younger up to me graduating college even.... If you want money for college research on line of all kinds of scholarships available. There are lots out there... some offer more then others, but money is money. Learn to budget. My roomate worked over 40 hours on a full time student schedule on top of paying rent, car insurance etc... so it can be done. It's good that you are thinking about the future though.

Miranda,many businesses hesitate to employ minors because of the legal restrictions on working hours and documentation required. A better option is to work from home on your computer-write articles,sell on eBay,make a website,take surveys. In some cases,you may have to set up an account in your parents or guardians name,and ask them to pay you,after they get the money for your work. you might be able to work as a camp counselor trainee this summer. try the ymca...

avoid acting or modeling as there are way too many scams out there.
