About 7 to 8.5 depending on how pure it is. Hard water is more alkaline. Our water has a lot of calcium bicarbonate in it and has a pH of 8.5.

Don't forget those areas where the tap water will be heavily influenced by acid rain. In those cases, the pH will be below 7.

The USEPA standard is 6.5-8.5 SU for pH. Anything in that range is ok for tapwater.

it depends on where you live for most it's around pH7-8 because we get calcium carbonate aka limescale which is alkali
