If you see red in the urine, don’t panic! It may not be blood. Some foods actually turn the urine red. Also, make sure that the blood you see is not from some other part of the body, perhaps a broken nail. Actual blood in the urine can be a sign of cancer, bladder infection or urinary stones. If your rabbit is straining to urinate or is "leaking" puddles outside the litterbox, this is something to be concerned about. You may also notice "urine burn," caused when urine-soaked fur keeps the skin underneath damp and irritated. Antibiotics maybe needed, so take your rabbit to his veterinarian.
btw
i found this reasearching;
Appearance of the Rabbit's Pee: Pee from normal rabbits usually contains large amounts of a light like sediment and may appear not normal to the uninitiated. The color of normal rabbits urine varies from clear to yellowish clear, to light brownish. Rabbits that drink a lot of water seem to have clearer pee containing less stuff in the pee. Rabbits that have recently treated with antibiotics and rabbits that are having a lot of stress may for a little while making pee that is orange or red tinted.

First of all, your rabbit is definately not on its period, that's not possible.
Rabbit urine can be a wide range of colors, and that is normal. Is is really red, or is it just orange? Orange is normal, especially if you've given him a carrot or something recently. Red is not normal and you should take him to a vet.
Also, sometimes my rabbits pee near things that are dyed different colors. Natural food dyes will wash out. That can make his urine appear a color that it is not.

Call a vet tomorrow. They should be able to at least let you know if you have something to worry about over the phone.
