NYPD Blue will always be my favorite because of the great character Andy Sipowicz. In twelve seasons, Det. Sipowicz battled racism, homophobia, alcoholism and successfully made the transition of three wives, four partners and four commanding officers before finally becoming the commander of the 15th squad. He lost a wife, two partners and a son and managed to pick himself up and carry on. Andy Sipowicz should go down in history as one of the most prolific and interesting characters of television drama.

Homicide Life on the Street, has the grit of Hill Street Blues and the Intellegence of Law and Order at its best. Plus by the end of the series you felt like you watched something that was planned to have a start, middle and finish.

There a lot of great ones and I go back to black and white. But if I had to pick one it would probably be CSI. I like all of the CSI's but I like the characters in Las Vegas the best.

Mine was Cagney and Lacey. I so much wanted to be like Cagney. I would rush home from school and hurry up with my homework just to watch Cagney and Lacey.
