I have a little less than 1/4 tank of heating oil and the company cannot come out until Wednesday. Should I pay the extra for them to come out on an emergent basis or should it be okay. Temperatures are in the 40's during the day and maybe 20's in the evening.

How much oil do you usually use. Look at your prior purchases, and at the length of time between those purchases. For example, if you usually have to buy oil once a month, and you buy 150 gallons that would meant that you average 5 gallons a day usage (150 gallons divided by 30 days)

You have a little under 50 gallons left in your tanks. If you do not uses more that 12 gallons a day, you will be fine. If you are using over 12 gallons a day, you would be filling your tanks every two weeks. I think you are going to be fine waiting for Wednesday.

One hint, if you get really low and are worried, you can buy diesel fuel and put it in your heating oil tank. The only difference is the die in the road diesel.

If you run out of oil its going to cost you more money to have a tech come out and clean and change the oil filter and nozzle. You should never run your oil tank lower then and 1/4 of a tank because all the Bactria is down there. If you are on automatic fill from the oil company and you run out its their fault so don't pay an extra charge but if you are a Will Call customer its your fault and you have to keep a better eye on your oil level

Was once in a similar with propane. What I did was wait and see. I could have called when I went out and then paid for the emergency run. I didn't run out and was glad that I didn't over do it. Just keep it a tad cooler for a few days.

Due to many variable factors, no one is going to be able to give an accurate estimate. How many people are running in and out? How many showers? How long are they?

I undergo in ideas all those claims they have been making with Mobil a million you basically had to do oil alterations i think of roughly 10-15K miles. additionally they claimed there exchange into much less positioned on on your engine. properly I do have self assurance man made oil does not ruin down by way of warmth etc. the situation is that oil is genuinely going to get grimy after that many miles and that could injury your engine. by utilising the way I accept as true with the guy under mentioned, exchange the filter out regularly in case you come back to a determination to apply a man made oil.
