I live in Spencer MA, and it has been my dream to attend Holy Cross. It is a hard school to get into, let me tell you that. About 34% of all applicants are accepted. I just sent in all my stuff and I found college board and talking to admissions there very helpful
Some of the main requirements are as follows
Admission requirements:
Essay(s) required, the essay is what really separates you from the rest, I was told that it is very important to focus on an essay that will grab the attention of the reader. HC does not require ACT/SAT scores (SAT around 1300, not including writing), however it is recommended that you would still take them, and send them in. Remember the key is to stand out and show you are committed.
Other very important admission factors include your class rank (try aiming for the top 25%). Followed by the classes you take in High School. HC loves AP, they live for that stuff. Followed but your GPA ( Admissions wants above a 3.5, but they do have a sliding scale). Finally, they want to know what you did in high school, HC has so many activity's you can get involved in. Finally the interviews and letters of recommendations will help you get accepted. HC loves letters from alumni (hint). But it all boils down to the Level of Applicant's Interest.
Well I hope this helps you out, feel free to talk to me anytime about HC, good luck getting in. Hey maybe I will see you there :-)
