Well duh..,. don't drink so much. Don't drink on an empty stomach. But if you JUST HAVE to drink yourself silly, then before you go to bed take vitamin C, vitamin B12, drink plenty of water, and eat something salty. Hangovers are caused mainly by dehydration and screwing up your natural levels of salts. And by the way, did you know there is such a thing as alcohol poisoning? (If you forgot the vitamin/water/salty snack regimen the night before and wake up feeling sick, an aspirin or tylenol the next day for your headache, along with a spoon of Peptobismol or a tums for your upset tummy will help. Then rehydrate yourself and get some rest.)

There's really nothing that works as a magic cure, but when it happens to me, I drink water, take ibuprofen, lay in bed, eat something mild if I can, and then after I've dozed off the worst of it a have a little hair of the dog. Guiness and Bud are great for that.

we all need to have a little fun sometimes. Drink lots of water or cranberry juice (so you can pee a lot) so you can flush your body of the alcohol that is still in your system (which causes the hangovers). Munch on something and wait it out.

Don't listen to the downers, if you can handle your drink and don't get addicted then it's perfectly fine to booze.

Try the hair of the dog...

...basically means drink one drink of what you were drinking the night before...it works...sometimes best thing to drink is a pint of beer (or glass if that seems too much).

No joke...search the net you'll find others saying the same.

Take Chaser Plus while you drink, along with aspirin before you go to sleep. Don't drink too much either. Your liver can't handle it.

Make sure you follow the directions on the Chaser bottle. You can purchase this at any drug store.

The key ingredient in many hangover remedies may be the primary drug used to fight cancer.

Scientists have uncovered a compound they believe can pack a powerful punch against one of the most common cancers in men. The herb, also known as the "liver cleanser," is being researched to reveal if it has any anti-metastatic properties.

Milk thistle's power against prostate cancer was first discovered during a search for cancer fighting compounds in natural products like green tea and soy.

David Kroll, Ph.D., and an herbal researcher, says the discovery of milk thistle's affinity to diminish the growth of cancer was first recognized in laboratory animals.

"[We] stumbled upon the fact that milk thistle, an antioxidant supplement, seemed to have unusually good activity against human prostate cancer in rodent models," says Kroll.

Also discovered was that the herbal supplement had a powerful effect against aggressive forms of the disease.

In the latest development, Kroll has isolated a compound he believes is attributed to the herb's prostate cancer fighting power.

"So what that leads us to think, is that we may be able to improve somewhat on nature by enriching milk thistle extracts for this one component, or possibly isolating this one single component and trying to develop it as a drug, or as a dietary supplement," says Kroll.

The scientists are now testing the isolated compound in mice, with hopes they can find the right concoction to one day test in men with prostate cancer.

The milk thistle compounds aren't ready for human testing yet, but lab studies have also shown the herbal compounds can help stop the growth of skin cancer and breast cancer cells.

Stop drinking - do you have any idea what alcohol is doing to your liver? Cirrhosis is a very unpleasant condition and it involves progressive death of your liver cells - never mind what happens to the rest of your body.
