Length x Breadth x Height. For example, if the Length = 2cm, Breadth = 5cm and Height =10cm, the Volume is 2 x 5 x 10 cubic cms = 100cubic centimetres.

since its a cuboid, then all the sides are the same length...so cube the sides...
e.g. if side length is 5cm, then the volume of the cuboid will be 5x5x5 = 5^3 = 125cmcubed

a cuboid is the name of a particular type of prism. A prism is any 3-D shape that has the same cross-sectional area along its length (think of a toblerone!).
The volume of any prism is found by multiplying the area of the front face by the length.
A cuboid has the area given by length x width, but a triangular prism (toblerone) is 1/2 x length x width because the area of a triangle is half that of a rectangle.

V = L x B x H
Example 1
L= 4cm , B = 5 cm, H = 8cm
V = 4 x 5 x 8 cm³
V = 160 cm³
Example 2
L = 3m , B = 8m , H = 10m
V = 3 x 8 x 10 m³
V = 240 m³
