coats come with extra buttons just incase one button on the coat falls off then you can sew on an extra button so you dont have too look like an idiot with a missing button or a not matching button that you found in your house

it never fails that you lose a button right away too. And wha la, you have an extra one without having to scramble to find a button that matches the ones on your new coat.

well kinda..its just a replacement 4 ONE of ur buttons i guess...or maybe there is a button slot with no button that u have 2 put on by urself..
