Well to the people below who have no knowledge nor understand the importance to this day Read My following passage. Today is the day When the great Leader Martin Luther King was Born. Dr. King has had an enormous impact of what the world is today. Dr.king was about knowledge, I will agree with you there but ,knowledge doesn't just come from school, knowledge is the body of truths or facts accumulated in the course of time which can be in took at home, school, library, or any other environment. Dr.king has a huge impact not just on African Americans but also any other group of ethnicity who lives in this country he is a huge contributor of why many people are here today and now we have the right to enjoy ourselves with whoever without fear of our lives. Dr.king did so much more for our society, my slim knowledge of this great man would take me hours just to inform you of half i know, but for those who couldn't write more than just, "nothing really" no matter your ethnicity that is very bold and you need teaching fast

I don't know if this is Non-American or not. But so far today I didn't even know it was a holiday until I went to go to do with errands with my dad and every place we went to was super busy. MLK is probably rolling in his grave with happiness now that a black man has become president. It is a big hurdle America finally jumped through. Next is for a women to become president, Hopefully not Hillery Clinton!!

Just kidding, don't blow out, and get all mad and stuff.
It means to me, that my kids get the day off and miss a day of learning at school, now really that is no what we should be doing. He was all about learning and education, so now we celebrate his birthday by loosing a day of learning, I don't think he would like that, what do you think?
