Nope! While they fill the stands, sell-out T.V. rights. Until Hamilton or Oshawa get an NHL team it is very profitable to have a mediocre team. So as long as us Leaf haters keeping buying tickets, merch, and corporate seats they will never have too. Why spend money on scouts like Detroit? Why re-build like Buffalo or Chicago? Why try to buy a team like the Rangers? Acceptable Losers is financially rewarding..

Hey, if a cheating team like the Hurricanes (look at replays of Brind'Amour in the face-off: half his body is already on the Oiler's side before the puck is even dropped and the only reason why no one calls it is because he's long-time friends with the linesmen of that series), so can the Leafs....just not any time soon.

When they actually get a good eam, eveyone has a catastrophic breakdown everytime they play them, the cubs need to win the world series, pigs need to fly, and they need a monkey as the head coach. Then they stand a chance.

no offence but this is a pretty dumb question, toronto will always have a fan base=money, and sooner or later, theyll learn to give this money to the right players

this might take a while though

i don't see them winning it for a very long time. the owners are still making millions and haven't won the cup in 40 years. i can see them go another 40 years, Leafs sucks anyways.
