Because there is a child involved you have to ask yourself one question.. "Do I want this man as a role model for my son?" I understand how you feel truly I do but just take a moment to think about your child's future.
Children are very receptive, if you are not happy with something, children automatically think that it's their fault, no matter how many times you tell them everything is ok, words mean nothing to a child in a situation like this only actions.
It is your choice.. choose wisely..

hunay, nothing is worth the agro, NOTHING, its just not worth it, believe me, the mum issue sometimes arises in people with psycological issues, and they are a lot better to be without esp as you have a child who will follow by example. The fact he is ugly is neither her nor there, that should not stop people loveing each other. He is obv aware your prob the only women who might live with him for a long time, maybe your too soft, maybe your looking for a security blanket, but this is not the one. He has proved the fact he cant be mature, how can he look after you and a son. the psycological side will wear you down till you either feel so low in yourself you dont cope or you cope with it until your life is in shatters. I have years of experiance in this field and its not the wisest move to bring a young child into such a complex relationship. There are loads of nice easier men out there, you can meet them on the net, in the pub at work etc etc, build your self esteem and get out and enjoy life.. all the best hun

Oh HELL NO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Don't get any kid involved with someone like that he is really weird and needs to get his head checked for all you know his having an affair with his own mother is sounds like. You will never see yourself free of her in your life if you have to be involved with him. You can do it on your own dont get with someone cos of stability you can do it yourself have some faith in yourself and believe more in yourself you do not need a man to make you or your son happy I know allot of single mothers out there that are perfectly happy I have one with me right now that's one of them :) You also said that he is ugly why would you wanna be with someone your not attracted too. You will regret your life if it was to be spent with him and your son might grow up to be weird as well keep your head up youll be ok move to a different town if need be just be away from him if he keeps on stalking you then get the police to put a retraining order against him! You better than that good luck :) Hope this helps.

I'm not entirely sure what your question is to be honest - whether you want advice on fixing your relationship or whether you should be with him at all.

From the sounds of it, he has a lot of personal issues that need fixing before he will be able to contribute to a successful personal relationship. He says he will work on it or change but to be honest, that will be difficult for him until he clears out his underlying issues and also set reasonable boundaries with his mother.

If he tries to have a relationship before sorting out the real problems - his mother, his issues - then it will be like building a house with no foundations. You need to be a whole person before you can play a complete part in a partnership - or relationship. He needs to work through the problems with his mum first.

I think you need to be cruel to be kind for both your sakes and break free now. If you stay with him, he will be too busy trying to 'change' for you to sort his real issues out. Not only that but people always revert to type after a while so things will only stay rosy for a brief period before returning to the previous state.

If things are so stressful this early in your relationship then how do you think things would be after 10 years?

Plus, with an interfering mother like that, imagine what life would be like if you had children?!

Get out whilst you can and find someone who is slightly more self-sufficient.

Good luck!

ignore flares. If it "looked like a action picture star in the commencing up" does that recommend that it looked fastened in place? if confident, ignore satellite tv for pc. yet while it exchange into moving (oftentimes from west to east) then satelites would properly be as vivid simply by fact the quite a few brighter stars, and that they disappear while they enter Earth's shadow. it could have been a action picture star or a planet, and a cloud surpassed in front of it. even although, i could anticipate that, in often used California, the backside of the cloud could have been lit by gentle pollutants and you could have seen the cloud. without better training, that's complicated to guess. lots of the time, while human beings see a vivid action picture star which then dissapears (or while they see it dim and bypass sideways) that's an airplaine with its landing spotlight on, coming today of their direction, then turning away. If the airplane is adequately distant, the pink/green sidelight are too faint to be seen, and the landing spotlights, that are directional (they are beams) are plenty fainter from the section. yet another danger is a airplane the place the spots are grew to become on for a quick era (the pilots prefer to work out if there's a skinny layer of stratus-like cloud at some altitude, to locate if icing is conceivable).

Have you ever thought that the problem might be YOU and the kind of men that you have an interest in?
In your last post you were talking about your child's father being less than your standards and now this man...
why do you keep attracting the same kind of men into your life?
YOU MIGHT NEED TO BE SINGLE for a long while and instead of focusing on men paying your bills, why not pay your own instead!
p.s. If this guy is as bad as you say, you deserve it for trying to use him!
God bless the child who has its own

I do think that he is an idiot that both you and his mum are taking advantage of.
Now, The mum will always win, so you are wasting your time big time.
She sounds possessive and a control freak.
He sounds like a proper mama's boy and needs a lot of growing up to do, which will never happen.
So, your son won't even have a good example to look up to;
You'll end up cheating on him.
He might end up killing you.
Your son will end up on his own?
I think it's pretty simple, it's not worth it.
There are other good guys out there and one who will fulfill your need better than this.

I think when you say 'how can you love someone like this', you've answered your own question.

You cannot be seriously contemplating going back with this man, he sounds like he's seriously messed up and in need of psychotherapy in a major way. He might have a job and security in that way, but do you really want to live with someone who, from what you are describing, wants a second Mammy? I'd run a mile from this chap.

Seriously, get rid, if you think he's creepy now, just thin kwhat he'll be like when u have been together for a couple of years.
He certainly has issues and he needs to deal with them. You need to get yourself and your son away from him and his mum.
It will be hard breaking free of him as he already seems very dependant on you.

He does not need to talk to you he needs a counsellor, their is obviously something underlying which produces this behaviour
