Go to hp.com and type in your computer info. Then dig through the documentation.

Or download this:

http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

and click the memory tab.

Hey there,

Goto http://www.crucial.com and enter in all that information. They will tell you exactly what you need and how much you cn enter. You will need to know the memory config of what you have right now. Open the box and see what you have. If there is 1 stick, then you know it is 1x512. If you have 2 stick, then you know it is 2X256. If you have more than than, my guess is as good as any. See how many memory slots you have open and then buy what you need, and can have, from there.

Sometimes, adding more memory requires a bios upgrade to support it. Check with HP about that.
