I am buying a new condo--it's a deal that fell through and the original buyers opted for a white ceramic tile with white grout countertop--would not have been my first choice! Is there some type of sealer I can apply that will help keep that white grout clean and unstained? Thanks.

Yes, certainly, lots of different brand names. Before you seal the grout, give it a good cleaning. Since it's white, Clorox Clean Up works well, just let it sit on the counter for about 15 minutes (and leave the smelly room:). You can buy grout sealers at Home Depot and any tile store. Reseal every few months.

Sure. I agree with above answer. Vote for it.

But the sealer (I would get it at a tile store) can be placed on every other year or so. It wears off and despite what you do it can get stained.

Good luck on your new home. If stained grout is all you have to sweat, you've got it made.

Remove the old grout and apply new grout.
