Yesterday after a soccer game somebody's warm-up jacket was left on the field and i offered to take it home, wash it, and bring it to our next practice. I did, but when i opened up the washer i discovered a pink iPod nano, 4 GB, on the bottom of the washer. It's not working at all, but i have no idea who's it is and i feel really guilty. Did anybody else have this problem, or know how to fix it? Or if i can fix it?

lol, I even have placed many stuff in the process the washer yet never an iPod! i could say enable it take a seat interior the solar, or in front of a heater for a at a similar time as and then blow dry any openings it has. iPods are hard to dry out simply by fact they are so tightly sealed. If that doesn't paintings you're screwed. i think of the guaranty covers water injury, and if not sometimes you could bypass into the Apple keep and coax them into changing it.

The battery might be dead and it just need charged... other than that try putting it in the oven on warm (or lowest setting), or leaving it in the sun for a few days to dry out... this sometimes works when cell phones get wet.

You turned it on already, it's toast.

Normally, when you get an iPod, cell phone, etc. soaking wet, you have to wait until it's 100% dry before you even try to turn it on. And normally, replacing the battery would be enough.

But that one is gone.

Pink? Yuck.

my friend did that to her mini and it was totaly ruined, i dont think you can fix it. just say you didnt see it if the owner asks. they will probably think it got stolen, or they lost it. cuz depending on how the person is you might have to shell out $200 for a new one. unless you have $200 just laying around, then you should pay them.

Let it sit near a heat source for a few day's. Don't try turning it on....for a few days and then see if it will work. If it doesn't then it's a goner.
