a.f(x)=x^6+1/x
f(-x)=x^6+1/-x
f(x)=f(-x) so odd

b.(10x)^1/3/(-0.1)x^2

so odd

a. (x^6+1) / x =
x^5 + 1/x
Both terms are odd, so the function is odd.

b. (cube root of 10x )/ - 0.1x^2 =
((10x)^(1/3))/ - 0.1x^2 =
-10((10)^(1/3))/x^(5/3)
Also odd:
(-1)^3 = -1
(-1)^5 = -1, so
(-1)^(5/3) = -1

a - odd
b - odd

odd = changing sign of x just changes the sign of the function (absolute value stays same)
