is duo core 2 processor a 64bit processor?
I know the amd turion 64 X 2 is a 64 bit processor...
Microsoft states that new Vista performs best with 64 bit architecture...So....If duo core 2 is not 64 bit, then I guess turion 64 is the best way to go for windows buyers...

I'm assuming you mean the Core 2 Duo.

Yes it is a true 64 bit chip, and it's really fast.

The Core Duo is also 64bit but a patched dual core chip, don't buy that one.

Buy the one that says Core 2 Duo.

The Turion is weak don't buy it.
