Book title? Dark metal trilogy?

I read this book years ago and I am trying to remember the title so I can read it again. The book was about a work where everyone can use magic but only one class of people can summon magic. The main people in this story are a "priest" and the "dead" prince, he was born with no magic. If you have read this book you will know what I mean. Thanks for the help.

You are talking about the Darksword trilogy by Margeret Weis and Tracy Hickman. Excellent books I thoroughly enjoy them. The first book in the trilogy is called "Forging the Darksword"
