My pediatrician told me that babies don't need to eat any food prior to six months old, and not to give them milk until they are a year old. The still need the formula, or breast milk to ensure they are getting all the nutrients they require. Feeding to early does fill them up but their digestive systems aren't ready yet and it can lead to food allergies later in life.

Baby Led weaning is safer? How on earth do you figure that? Baby Led weaning might be more dangerous if the parent has no idea exactly what the philosophy is and how to properly implement it.

6 months or older for solid introduction, skip the cereal and bake a sweet potato!

6 months. Babies shouldn't start any solids before 6 months.

I feed my baby whatever I eat. So broccoli, squash, carrots, peas, etc. And I don't puree it, I do baby-led introduction to solids which is safter than spoon feeding.

i started with carrots, green beans and mixed veggies. it is best to start with vegetables instead of fruits. if you start with fruits they will be used to the sweetness and will not eat the veggies.
I started about 4 months, but make sure he also drinks enough liquids to prevent constipation.
