These days women are being more often heard. I think that women will come to Presidency soon. I hope that they will follow other countries that have women leaders

Probably good. Many people underestimate women.
Hopefully soon, we need to whip this country into shape.

The only way there will be a woman President any time soon is if Bush and Cheney are both removed from office and Nancy Pelosi becomes President.

I would only give that about a 50% chance of happening.

Nancy Pelosi would be an above average President, possibly even great, but the hand dealt by Bush and Republicans is so lousy, and the attacks of the media on her would be so extreme, her job would be very difficult.

I do not think there are currently any female Presidential candidates who have a chance of winning in 2008. Hillary is going to fizzle out real fast once the primaries begin.

I don't think their will be a woman president for a long time because a lot of americans would rather have man presidents. And the first woman president will probably have her good and bad qualities. Like all presidents. while some have more bad than others.

I don't think the natioin is "ready" to have a woman as president yet. I think in 2012 we will be ready, but not this time around. Hopefully a woman will be good... hopefully she would bring out a whole new side to things!

never, unfortunately, we're too hung up on looking tough to the rest of the world and a female president doesn't give that impression to other male dominated countries.

It won't be Condi. She just shot her chance by staying on board and being the messenger that W can do whatever he wants as Commander in Chief including sending 21,500 troop against the will of Congress, the Senate and the American people. SO since she is still on his bandwagon ( have you noticed everyone else is getting off as fast as they can ) she will not ever be President.

Just as soon as a viable candidate can be found. Hopefully within the next 12-16 years.

I'd vote for Condi!

Hard to say; there is just so much backward, chauvenistic, trailer park mentality yet in this country.

Many say that women should be allowed in combat (but God forbid a woman should lead their country).

I would welcome a woman president.

I'm curious if there's one that the Republican's would endorse????
