It's no secret that Bush's big "surge" will include Najaf as well as Baghdad. Najaf is alSadr/s town, And they have had plenty of time to prepare. The "surge" will likely include "door to door" searches for insurgents and militia. Already the U.S. is warning that this 'surge" will be "bloody". And although many Iraqis will likely die, so too will U.S troops. I want to understand why we in the U.S. are allowing such a blind incursion towards death for our soldiers.
Why are we allowing this? Why?
(and please do not compare to other 'wars' because this is not our war to fight. It has developed into a civil war between factions. It is not a war on terror in Iraq. U.S. soldiers are dying in a crossfire between factions. )
I truly hope that this will be
BUSH'S
.....LAST
...........STAND!

Bush's Big Surge will help Muqtada al-Sadr greatly, and I'm sure he is looking forward to the publicity. He is a dangerous megalomaniac, and was little known until the US attempted to catch/ assassinate him in Fallujau.

This SURGE should increase his power drastically, and put him in the spotlight every day. Or he may choose to "play possum" for a short period until THE SURGE is commenced. Either way, the living martyr that Bush created will again become stronger because of Bush.

Mr. Muqtada Alsader (Shia Cleric) is what you can describe a military representative of Iran, He is financially funded and he gets all his weapons from Iran. You ask why Mr. Bush does not kill him, well, maybe he is what you can call untouchable, Mr. Bush cannot kill his true enemies, if you want to stop death militias?, then kill Muqtada, that is the magic answer the US gov. just does not seem to understand, he is far worse then Bin Laden…But I guess some countries do not learn from there past mistake, Bin Laden was under US watch, but they let him go, and the same will happen with Muqtada, but he is killing innocent Iraqis and US troops everyday, ask your commander why the next soldier should die so Mr. Sader can Lie in his castle in Saadum City.

Muqtada is a dead meat. His life expectancy can now be counted in a matter weeks or months..

America will not keep any person alive who will support Iran during the US-IraN war. Muqtada already said that he will support IraN if the US attacks Iran.

Men like al-Sadr are experts at playing both sides against the middle - and then they come out on top.

some believe the rhetoric of bush and the media. i believe al sadr is going to be targetted because of his influence on the people and politicians. he is not the worst threat to peace in iraq. badr brigade is worse and they are fighting for a bigger iran.
