Judges are accountable to the people who elect them. If they do things that their constituents disagree with, vote for someone else next time. What is funny is that in this county, everyone talks about the District Judge, and how terrible he is. But, he was just re-elected by an overwhelming majority.
In O'Reilly's case, he isn't going after all the right people. Sure Judges are accountable. But, it is the legislature that passes the laws, statutes, minimum sentances, and things of that nature. The judges are just requried to work witin the confines of the laws passed.
We also need to start holding our elected reps more accountable as well.

From that site
"n a government by the People and for the People, it is to the People that accountability must be enforced. With the passage of J.A.I.L. accountability to the People in mass will be achieved by Special Grand Juries dedicated to this purpose. These People, who are not officers of any other branch of government or members of the Bar, will be publicly drawn BY LOTTERY for limited terms. Complaints will come before them only after every other legal remedy has been attempted. They shall have the power to strip judges of their protection of judicial immunity who are the subject of complaints for criminal acts, and to investigate, indict, and initiate criminal prosecution of wayward judges."
What idiocity! lol
Judges need to KNOW the law, often times they make decisions that might appear irrational to the common folk but our system of law is based on precedence, the vast majority of people have no idea or concept of how the legal system works. They would convict a judge for setting free a man that is obviously guilty of a crime, however the judge did so because he needs to follow the law (remember precedence) and the institution that should've put him in prison failed to follow the law. That would set a guilty man free according to our laws, it may appear wrong but, THOSE ARE OUR LAWS. We can not have a standard for one person and another for a second one, we must endeavor to have the same standard for all, this can only be accomplished by following a system of precedence.
Whomever created that site is an idiot that has no idea what he/she is talking about.
In the case of Oreilly doing/advocating such nonsense, he does so even though he knows he's advocating nonsense because it is good for ratings, he caters to uninformed people with tidbits of things that feel wrong, because they 'feel' wrong those ignorant of the law do follow him on his 'sermons' even though Oreily knows his nonsense will go nowhere because it (what he proposes/states) has no legal basis. It does get him ratings though, and that is all he cares about.

Judges should be hired from foreign nations and no affiliation to any party whether Rep or Dem, then we can see some objective justice rather then post criminals on the bench and then ask ourselves this question.

Yes. I would love to see that. The ancient Aztecs had a similar system. If a civic official failed in his duty, he was obligated to jump off a cliff in reparation.
I'd LIKE to see that enacted again!

Only if they're arch-conservatives looking to overthrow established laws in favor of a theocracy.

No. Because that will completely undermine our entire legal system.
