Yes you can, acually right now I am playing bauldur's gate on my DS and that is for the advance. I hope I have helped. But you can not play old gameboy games just gameboy advance games.

Yes, but you can't play Gameboy Color games on the DS, that is reserved for the Game Boy Advance.

of course you can. As long as you have a DS of some sort the gameboy advanced game will work. The old ones don't fit though

Yes, my friend has a DS and he can play games from the Advance on the DS. It only shows on one screen though and the stylus is no use for the game

yes my cousin has a nitendo ds lite and he bought some gameboy advanced and it still works with it any way.

Yes you can, and it works fine. the draw back is that it is only on one screen, and of course you can't use the stylus.
but you obviously cannot play DS cames on the advance.
