Hair does what it wants, but in time you can train it to do different things unless it is a cowlick. You can try when hair is damp using gel (not a ton of it) then take a rounded open brush so air can flow through it and use a blow dryer and dry your bangs. dry them straight towards your face, then push them in the direction you wan't them to go and use hair spray to help hold it in place. It will take some time to get this to work but keep practicing and over time it should do the trick. It is hard to explain without showing you, if you have a regular hairdresser they should be able to help you. (hairdresser)

Straighten them (this make it permenate) in your face, like full on bangs. Then through out the day slightly push them to the side. I know this sounds retarded, but even when I went to go get my hair done she said the same thing, you have to train them. They will eventually do what you want it you keep doing it. Hope this helps

My hairstyler told me to blow-dry your bangs to the opposite side, with a circular brush. Then put them to your original side and they'll poof up! =]
