Legs are weak...?

Why is it that when I go up or down stairs my legs are shaky and weak...could it be because of my arthrits (due to a fracture in a car accident) in my hips or something else?

Yes, get some xrays to find out whats wrong, could be your bones or muscles cramping.

unless you're feeling pain, it's probably not arthritis. if you were recently in the hospital or had a cast, I would guess muscular atrophy, in which case your muscles will return with time. but I don't know.
