My baby is formula fed and was wondering how much she should eat per feeding and how many times per day. She was four months on 01-09.

My son just turned 4 months and he's eating 8-9oz every 4 hours, I also add about a teaspoon of cereal to his bottles. We are in the process of indroducing veggies at this point too. About twice a day in between feedings. He's also been sleeping through the night since 2mo old. So no feedings at night. Keep in mind every baby is different.....

My son, now 12 years old, was a piggy at that age! He took an 8 ounce bottle every two hours 24/7. Plus he ate cereal and teething cookies.

I think a more typical feeding schedule for that age is a 6-8 ounce bottle every four hours throughout the day, and perhaps one feeding in the middle of the night, plus cereal once or twice a day.
