All the time. It makes a person feel better and lets them know how much you care. I telll my friends I love them all the time.

I use terms of endearment to friends of the opposite sex, but only ones that I know very very well and have a close personal bond with.

Yes, I do use terms of endearment with my friends.
We use terms that are descriptive of how we feel each other is. One of my online best friends calls me "Precious" because he feels precious is who and what I really am.

Some people are very touchy, feeling and use words like sweetie and honey to people, sometimes even to people they don't know. A lot of it is how they were raised. To other people, who weren't raised that way, it seems strange and maybe even invasive to their personal space. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong with it. Personally, I'm kind of in-between both those descriptions. You shouldn't judge someone by it though. It's a lot nicer than if they were name calling.

I use terms of endearment with everyone. Its just my personality and nurturing ways.

Yes. Well, I tell them I love them, and express affection. But my friends do a lot...chica, or chicita, etc. I'm not much of the dear or honey user but I'm definitely more affectionate with my female friends then a lot of people

I tell my 4 best friends that I love them, but I don't call them Honey, etc. When I was younger I didn't tell them that I loved them, but the older you get, the more you realize the necessity of telling the ones you love that, in fact, you do:)

Yes. Honey, dear, sweetie,etc. Why? I don't know...that's just how I communicate.
My best friend calls her husband Dear often. He responds by calling her Moose. Goofball!

My very best friend in the whole world I call her "hoochie" it's a long story...and it is just something that has stuck and many people call her that---funny thing is that she is the farthest thing from that!! I call my husband, baby and daddy (he is the father of one of my kids).
