I would have done pretty much everything differently. The place, the dress, the ceremony. I guess the only thing I would keep is my husband and our wedding party and my gorgeous Cake!

We were married in Jamaica and stayed at a couples only resort...the bridal party as well. They were all single and should have stayed at a singles resort. My son was best man and gave me away. Single and very handsome. Three days of boredom for him and his buddy~our camera man. Our maid of honor was the WORST choice! She didn't help me get ready or spend any time with me except for the ceremony itself! After we got home, I would have liked one day to relax, before the reception, but with the flight delay(8 hrs) in Memphis and then to say the least there was a storm in Minneapolis area and we circled the city for nearly 2 hours, so the extra 10 hours were eaten by the hand of Mother Nature and NW airlines. It was still a 3 hour drive home in the storm. I felt soooo rushed and a wreck to make sure things fell in place. Good Luck to you and yours.
