as sad as it is to say this, being a HUGE bears fan, after how close the game was today against Seattle I can't see the Bears shutting down a strong inside runner and strong outside runner. They had a hard time shutting down the strong inside runner they found in Shaun Alexander. They are just hurting without Tommie Harris, period. They were a lot better defense when their secondary was complete and their front line had all the big playmakers. So sad though, it'd be nice to see them go to the Super Bowl, it's been way too long. I'm not even going to mention Rex Grossman, he's improved a little bit in this last game, but they need a strong quarterback that is able to be versatile in both rushing and passing. That would make all the difference in the world, he can hand the ball off and throw very short passes, but had the receiver been covered on that long pass he wouldn't have gotten it to him I don't believe. Anytime a defense pressures Grossman, whether it be face to face or by covering his receivers he chokes, that's something that needs to be remedied and in a hurry. The Super Bowl and the NFC Championship won't be so kind to him this time.

The Saints. The Bears look horrible against the Seahawks. A game everyone said they would win easily.

I think the Saints can pull this one off. Did you see the weakness in the Bears running defense? And did you see Mcallister and Bush yesterday? Plus Brees is a better quarterback then Hassleback and will have a little more success in the passing game.
The Saints defense has been known to give up big plays. So Grossman will be able to do those 10-15 yard passes quite a bit. BUT the Saints have an AWESOME defensive line that will put pressure on Grossman, so his effectiveness decreases possibly forcing turnovers.

The Saints will win. Drummer boy below is an idiot. The Bears "already won" against the Seahawks. And the Chargers will win the AFC to force a Chargers-Saints Superbowl.

Da Bears. It will be close though. The Saints have the no.1 offense in the NFL. But playing on real grass, outdoors and in Chicago in the middle of winter I think gives the Bears the edge.

I think the Saints will win. Grossman is going to choke and the Saints have more to play for and deserve it more. My final score prediction: Saints- 31 Bears- 28
