That really depends on what you like.... Grand Canyon would be amazing if you can appreciate the beauty. Hollywood or New York City would be exciting if you're into that kind of thing - maybe spot a celebrity! Disney World or Universal Studios is such a blast if you like amusement parks.

When I was 13 I had already been to every state east of the Mississippi except for the ones up bye Maine I live in NY. And I really enjoyed going to Florida even thou I already been there alot. But, It depends on what you like to do. I would pick a place that kinda interest you but some place that you can relate to all your life. For me I could now tell stories to my kids about the great glass tunnel that sea world in FL had. Even places like Gettysburg PA was interesting to me but not to my friends but it stayed with me and helped when we learned about it in history class it was more interesting to listen to it knowing I was there so I could relate to it.

New York....My little sister had a trip like that when she was 14 and she picked New York....she loved it.
or if you weren't born in the place you live now....go back to where you were born. And see where your parents lived at that time.
My husband is from Seattle...and he does all he can to talk about it and wouldlove to go back! So now...I wanna go!
good luck and have fun where ever you go!

depends on what you want to see. if you are looking for historical sites, boston is the place to go. when i went there it was so cool knowing i was standing in the exact place all these events happened. if you are looking for tropical, definately florida, or anywhere in the south. for skiing, or snow, definately colorado, or anywhere along the rockies. for sunshine and beaches, california. i live in southern california and love it here. hollywood is another great option. if you want to see a movie that is coming out, then going to the premiere in hollywood is so fun. if you came to southern california, you could go to seaworld, the beach, hollywood, beverly hills, fashion island (great shopping mall i go there all the time). well im thirteen also, and that is just my opinion.
have fun wherever you decide to go!

It depends on what you like and what you want to see. New York would be great cause you could see the Statue of Liberty, the WTC site, Yankee Stadium, things like that. You could go to DC and see the White House and that stuff. You could go to Arizona and see the Grand Canyon. Anywhere you go there are things to do and see, it just depends on your interests.
